A Man For All Seasons

Sir Thomas More was once described by a contemporary as “A man of marvelous mirth and pastimes…a man for all seasons.” Artist Gary Golden admits to an infectious sense of humor and says he enjoys several pastimes. He’s a water colorist who specializes in southwest scenes and portraits of Native Americans, to which he often adds glitter, turquoise and Sedona red sand. He also enjoys gardening (he makes note cards from pictures of his plants), landscaping, sketching, photography, and pottery.

Golden is also a self-taught jewelry maker and creates stunning necklaces from magnesite, silver, copper and jasper. He’s truly an artist—and a man—for all seasons.
